Aims
Promote the interests of staff of the United Nations and its specialized agencies; seek fair treatment for all staff in matters of remuneration and benefits and conditions of security at all duty stations; enable member associations to coordinate their policies and activities in order to help attain the aims set forth in the Charter of the United Nations; promote development of an international civil service and protect the interests of international civil servants; represent staff at interagency level; strive to improve the image of the international civil service in the eyes of member states, the media and the public.
