History

Founded as a result of the merger of H-XD7405 - Arab Organization for Mineral Resources (AOMR), H-XD3874 - Arab Organization for Standardization and Metrology (ASMO), and H-XD4088 - Arab Industrial Development Organization (AIDO) as the main organization. Operates under the umbrella of the D-XD2903 - League of Arab States (LAS), with its own legal entity and administrative and financial autonomy.

Aims

Contribute to the development of the industrial sector and achieve industrial coordination and integration in Arab countries; encourage Arab industries based on creativity, innovation, knowledge and technology to promote their competitiveness; upgrade quality infrastructure in the Arab countries and facilitate inter-Arab trade; contribute to the development of mining sector in Arab countries.
