Established to follow up the work of H-XH0134 - International Federation of National Standardizing Associations (ISA), 1926-1942, and of H-XH4857 - United Nations Standards Coordinating Committee, 1944-1946.

Aims

Promote development of standardization and related activities worldwide with a view to facilitating international exchange of goods and services and to developing cooperation in the sphere of intellectual, scientific, technological and economic activity.
