Aims
Conserve wild birds, their habitats and global biodiversity; prevent extinction in the wild; maintain and, where possible, improve the conservation status of all bird species; sustain vital ecological systems that underpin human livelihoods; enrich the quality of people's lives; empower people, contribute to the alleviation of poverty and, by people working together, strive to ensure sustainability in the use of natural resources.
