Act as contact, reflection and cooperation body for the Episcopal Conferences of Latin America, which are represented therein by their Presidents and delegates; study problems of interest to the Church in Latin America, with a view to finding appropriate solutions; coordinate Catholic activities in the continent to ensure maximum efficiency; promote and maintain, directly or indirectly, initiatives and activities of common interest.
