Founded on merger of H-XB1450 - Unda, International Catholic Association for Radio and Television, founded 19 June 1928, Cologne (Germany) as 'International Catholic Bureau for Broadcasting -- Bureau catholique international de radiodiffusion', and H-XB1454 - International Catholic Organization for Cinema and Audiovisual, founded 1928, The Hague (Netherlands).
Officially recognized as an International Association of the Faithful by the Holy See thorough approval of its Canonical Statutes, 24 Oct 2014.
Aims
Engage with media professionals and support Catholic communicators; transform cultures in the light of the Gospel by promoting human dignity, justice and reconciliation.
