Monitor, protect and promote the common interests of members; provide a neutral meeting ground for textile trade associations and companies from along the entire textile value chain in industrialized and developing countries for discussion of matters of common interest and for exchange of information and experience; act as an international spokesman in matters relating to raw materials and as a liaison agent between the textile industry and governmental and intergovernmental organizations.
