Aims

Promote a fairer society by defending rights of all consumers, especially the poor, marginalized and disadvantaged; support and strengthen members and the consumer movement in general; campaign at international level for policies that respect consumer concerns, focusing on specific areas such as food, standards and trade; seek full incorporation of consumer policy into trade and development agreements negotiated at international and regional levels. Promote basic consumer rights to: basic needs; safety; information; choice; representation; redress; education; a healthy environment.
