The International Congress Calendar is the most substantial source of information on past, present and future events and meetings in the world of international organizations. Continuous data editing and advanced search functions make it an indispensable research tool for anyone wishing to gain insight into past, current and future association events.
Currently, the International Congress Calendar comprises information on around 550,000 events in the past, present and future, covering the years from 1851 to 2036. In addition to international meetings, it also provides data on national events with a large proportion of international participation. Included are also around 3,000 future events, giving an outlook on trends and topics to come.
Information on all meetings is edited by an editorial staff and presented in a standardized format to facilitate comparison and statistical analysis, making the International Congress Calendar a trusted tool for companies within the meetings industry as well as consultants, publishers, research institutes, university departments, libraries, or government bodies. A subscription grants access to the full database as well as advanced search capabilities, such as event name, association name, meeting location, subject matter, and participant numbers. The online database is updated every six to eight weeks. The meetings data compiled by the UIA is also analyzed in great detail in its annual International Meetings Statistics Report.
Besides full access, the UIA’s Open Calendar project offers free access to 6,000 current and future meetings and events with a limited search function.
