History
through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Ministers of Education, Science and Research of the South Eastern Europe. Initiated by Task Force Education and Youth (TFEY) of U-XF6140 - Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, 2004. When F-XM3681 - Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) succeeded Stability Pact, 2007, TFEY was succeeded by Task Force 'Fostering and Building Human Capital' (TFBHC). Work of ERI SEE Secretariat institutionalized in governmental ERI SEE Agency, which opened Nov 2006.
Aims
Foster shared European standards in education and training for a rapid integration of its member countries into a wider European area of education, thus contributing to the success and sustainability of the EU integration process.
Structure
Governing Board, comprising signatory ministries of member countries and of Austria as Co-Chair of the Task Force Fostering and Building Human Capital (TFBHC) of F-XM3681 - Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). Consultative Body, including representatives of Institutional Partners and donor countries. Secretariat.
