Founded following recommendations of a meeting of LAS, 7 Oct 1976, Baghdad (Iraq). Statutes amended 25 Feb 1980, Baghdad. A specialized union within D-XD0433 - Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU).

Aims

Strengthen the Arab food industry by developing commercial, industrial, administrative and technical relations related to industrial food and beverages and regional integration projects from raw materials to production and marketing.
