Aims

Establish relations and cooperation with other organizations (national and international) and persons interested in the problems of science, technology, production, distribution and application of all types of fertilizer and fertilizing materials; promote and organize international meetings in the field as means for improving yield, crop quality, soil fertility and sustaining management of land use systems; study problems concerning utilization of natural nutrient resources under various ecological and climatic conditions; study effects of fertilization and fertilizer application on the natural environment; carry out activities in the field of recycling nutrients by waste processing, upgrading and evaluation of waste-processed fertilizing materials - composts etc; promote research on soil testing and plant analysis methods, assessment of nutrient demand on soil, water and plants; promote methods and initiatives for calibration and control of nutrient content and formulas in fertilizers by legal measures.
