History
10 Jun 1999, in accordance with UN Security Resolution 1244, as multinational force under the command of C-XC3005 - NATO and under the auspices of A-XA3375 - United Nations (UN). Also referred to as K-For and as HQ Kosovo Force. From Apr 2000, a core element of F-XF2645 - Eurocorps. From 1 Nov 2000 - Apr 2001, command of KFOR Communication Zone West was assumed by H-XF3665 - EUROFOR. Restructured, Oct 2010.
