Aims

Provide means for universities of the Asian and Pacific region to work together so as to: discharge more effectively their responsibility to provide higher education and training, extend the frontiers of knowledge and contribute actively to the well-being of the community, develop human resources, preserve and enhance cultural heritage and thus serve the cause of socio-economic development and peace; promote wider understanding of the value and importance of these basic goals; implement programmes which will assist in development of member institutions.
