Represent the general and specific interests of the agricultural cooperative movement in discussions with EU institutions and other communities and bodies; undertake legal, economic, financial, social or other studies of concern to agricultural and fisheries cooperatives, in particular those illustrating the particular nature of agricultural and fisheries cooperatives as compared with non-cooperative enterprises, to the EU authorities and public opinion, and thus contribute to development of cooperative enterprises in general; promote contacts and cooperation between agricultural and fisheries cooperatives in EU countries and support and coordinate activities of organizations working in different spheres of agricultural cooperation in EC by creating or affiliating specialist committees; ensure liaison with COPA and any other organizations working in the agricultural or other economic or social fields, either at EU or at European and world level.
