The supreme organ of the French-speaking world, the Summit comprises a biennial conference series originally prepared and followed up by U-XK0212 - Comité international de préparation du Sommet francophone (CIP) and H-XE0925 - Comité international du suivi du Sommet francophone (CIS), these two committees having been replaced, 21 Nov 1991, by E-XE3041 - Conseil permanent de la Francophonie (CPF). Principal operator of Summits: E-XE3879 - Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), formerly H-XC3983 - Agence intergouvernementale de La Francophonie. Operator of higher education and research aspects: C-XF3420 - Agence universitaire de La Francophonie (AUF). Operator of audiovisual aspects: F-XF0037 - TV5Monde (TV5). C-XC7332 - Association Internationale des Maires et responsables des capitales et métropoles partiellement ou entièrement Francophones (AIMF) and F-XF2205 - Université internationale de langue française au service du développement africain (Université Senghor) also implement Summit decisions. Common organ with OIF: F-XF5124 - Conférence ministérielle de la Francophonie (CMF).
