Aims

Disseminate knowledge on all sensory and motor aspects of strabismus and other disorders of ocular motility; foster clinical and experimental research; encourage and support countries wishing to set up organizations for the study and treatment of strabismus and associated sensory disorders; create, as far as possible, a common terminology and a standardization of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

General Business Meeting (every 4 years). Administrative Council (meets every 4 years), consisting of 20 members. Executive Committee, composed of President, 1st and 2nd Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer, Transactions Editor, Newsletter Editor and any other officers the Council wishes to appoint. Nominating Committee; Program Committee; Bielschowsky Lecture and Linksz Award Committee; Committee on Terminology.
