History

Founded as the documentation centre of the Afrika-Instituut. Its trade office later became G-XG5463 - Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC). Centre officially set up 28 Aug 1958. Currently part of Leiden University (Netherlands).

Study Africa, by undertaking research and teaching about Africa; promote a better understanding of African societies.
