2001. Officially launched Nov 2002, Dar es Salaam (Tanzania UR).

Aims

Interlink laboratory managers in the region and the world at large; establish and manage proficiency testing schemes, quality audit and quality assurance; establish proper procedures for procurement and disposal of chemicals, equipment and their wastes; build capacity in acquisition of laboratory related technical skills; offer consultancy; develop mechanisms aimed at establishing of an accreditation body in the region; act as an advisory body.
