History

Founded as a regional grouping within C-XC1966 - International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS), on signature of the first association agreement by 9 societies, following discussion at IFORS conferences and meetings, 1972, 1973 and 1974. Formally constituted 5 Mar 1976. Statutes amended: 18 June 1976; 1989; 1990; 2003; 2019.
