Founded

1989

History

1989, as Council for Ethics in Business and Administration. Current title adopted 9 Oct 1995, Castellanza (Italy), when registered in accordance with Italian law. From 8 Aug 1998, also referred to briefly as: Movement for Federal Europe -- Mouvement pour l'Europe fédéral (MEF) -- Movimiento por l'Europa Federal -- Movimento per l'Europa Federal. Currently inactive.

Aims

Promote and diffuse the concept and use of ethical and moral principles in policy planning, programming, budgeting, administration and evaluation at political, governmental, intergovernmental and public administration levels; raise the quality, competence and integrity of politicians, public administrators and civil servants in Europe; function as an observer of political behaviour and a moral guide for the defence of democracy and justice.
