History
1952, Hamburg (Germany FR), as Confederation of European Soft Drinks Associations (CESDA) -- Confédération des associations européennes des boissons rafraîchissantes. Subsequently changed title to Confederation of International Soft Drinks Associations (CISDA) -- Confédération des associations internationales des boissons rafraîchissantes in 1995, and later to Confederation of International Non-Alcoholic Beverages Associations -- Confédération des associations internationales des boissons non alcoolisées. As of 2008, merged into E-XE3243 - UNESDA Soft Drinks Europe (UNESDA).
Aims
Promote cooperation among national associations of soft drinks manufacturers on industrial and commercial matters; deal with matters of interest to member associations; stimulate sales and consumption of soft drinks; represent common interests of member associations to international organizations and authorities.
