Founded following decision at International Trade Conference, 1919, Atlantic City NY (USA). Sub-title: World Business Organization. Registered by French Ministerial Decree, 24 Jan 1949, Paris.

Aims

Serve world business by promoting trade and investment and the free market system; represent the interests of all main business sectors, including banking, financial services, information technology, telecommunications, the environment, arbitration, competition law, intellectual property and transportation; harmonize trade practices and terminology and draw up rules for the conduct of trade and ethical codes governing marketing and advertising.

International Court of Arbitration. ICC national committees and groups bring together member companies or sectoral organizations at national level.
