Headquarters moved to Munich (Germany) in 1956 and returned to Geneva (Switzerland) in 2002. 1 June 2002, took over activities of the previous U-XC1807 - International Committee for Mini-Basketball and its 5 Zone Commissions - U-XE2192 - African Mini-Basketball Commission; U-XE2191 - Asian Mini-Basketball Commission; U-XE0891 - FIBA Mini-Basketball European Committee; U-XE2326 - Americas - Mini COPABA; U-XE2189 - Oceania Mini-Basketball Commission. Current statutes and internal regulations adopted at 20th Congress, 2014, Seville (Spain).

Develop and promote the game of basketball in order to bring people together and unite communities.
