Aims
Increase among students an awareness of environmental problems in the Baltic Sea area; give them an understanding of the scientific, social and cultural aspects of the interdependence of man and nature; develop their ability to study changes in the environment; encourage them to participate in developing a sustainable future. Educational approach of BSP schools is to: achieve a balance between holistic view and individual subject studies; change student's role from passive recipient to active constructor; change teacher's role from supervisor to guide in the learning process; use networks to provide participants with opportunities to learn and pass on new ideas; use international cooperation as an inherent element of school work.
