Promote the mainstreaming and implementation of rainwater harvesting into water policies and strategies in particular the integrated water resources management (IWRM) at global, regional and national levels; encourage governments and their development partners to allocate human and financial resources for implementing rainwater harvesting; promote cooperation between different institutions and networks involved in rainwater harvesting.
