History
Founded as a regional body of B-XB3453 - World Alliance of Young Men's Christian Associations (YMCA). Present Statutes adopted 15 May 1981; amended by EAY General Assemblies of: 30 May 1987; 25 May 1990; 29 May 1992; 17 May 1996; 24 May 1998. Previously registered under Swiss Civil Code.

Promote, develop and coordinate the work of YMCA movement in Europe.

MD consists of 5 Field Groups and 6 partner groups and EPF consists of various programme groups: Sport Group (EPEG); Camping Group; European Ten Sing Group (ETS); European Scouts and Jungschar Group (ESG), Youth Empowerment Space (YES) and various task groups.
