8 Apr 1965, as European Union of Abattoir Users and the Cattle and Meat Trade -- Union européenne des exploitants d'abattoirs, du commerce de bétail et de la viande -- Europäische Union der Versandschlachtereien des Vieh- und Fleischhandels. In 1989, adopted the title European Abattoirs Union -- Union européenne des exploitants d'abattoirs (UEEA) -- Europäische Union der Industriellen Schlachtereien -- Unione Europea Macellatori Industriali -- Europese Unie van Slachthuisexploitanten. Current title adopted 1994. No activities reported since 2007.
Aims
Represent the interests of slaughterhouses at the European level, specifically with the institutions of the European Union; provide links with agricultural and professional organizations and other economic groups.
