Represent general and specific interests of farmers in discussions with the EU institutions and other EU bodies; coordinate proposals in order to define common attitudes to be submitted to European Union institutions; defend the interests of agriculture as a whole; examine any matters related to the development of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), in coordination with COGECA; maintain and develop relations with Comunity authorities and with any other representative organizations or social partners established at the European level.
