Spread throughout Europe the Olympic ideals as defined in IOC's Olympic Charter, in close cooperation with International Olympic Committee (IOC), Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and the Olympic Associations in other continents; educate young people through sport in a spirit of better understanding and friendship, thereby contributing towards building a better and peaceful world; promote cooperation between European NOCs through research, the study of issues of common interest, exchange of information and standing for common positions; develop IOC Olympic Solidarity programmes in Europe.
