Dear Invitee,
We have the distinct honour to invite you to the 2025 World Sustainable Development Summit of the United Nations under the auspices of the Commission for Sustainable Development (CSD) which will be convened from 25th - 27th March 2025, 9.00 a.m to 1:30 p.m (in-Person) at the - Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London, United Kingdom.
Theme: ‘Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: The effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions’. It will conduct in-depth review of SDG 1 (no poverty), SDG 2 (zero hunger), SDG 13
(climate action), SDG 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions), and SDG 17 (partnerships for the Goals).
The theme recognizes the complex, interconnected nature of challenges in achieving sustainable development and the importance of everyone in working towards creating a sustainable future. The event will explore adaptability, creativity, inclusivity, and resiliency of leadership to achieve sustainable development.
The 2025 World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) will bring together business, and political leaders from governments, researchers, professionals, administrators, manufacturers, importers and exporters, policymakers, SDG stakeholders, representatives from the public and private sectors, NGOs, civil society and international organizations in a series of high-level meetings to turn the ten years leading up to the 2030 deadline for achieving the SDG into a decisive decade of action and delivery.
The 3-day event will address, among other topics, innovation in financial markets, corporate water stewardship, artificial intelligence (AI) and corporate responsibility for human rights, global climate goals and corporate investments for climate ambitions, sustainable supply chains, sustainable consumption and production, and innovation and transformative solutions for the SDGs. The event aims to inspire and challenge organizations to ambitious, credible, and measurable targets aligned with calls to action in five areas where the private sector is best positioned to drive progress across all 17 SDGs: living wage; climate change; water stewardship; gender equality; and SDG investments.
