Registration:
Registration for SSBGD 2023 is free and the organizing committee in collaboration with the conference sponsors will cover all registered delegates' travel expenses (Round Trip Air Tickets). Visa assistance will also be rendered to delegates who need a Visa to enter the United States for the conference.
Delegates who require a visa will be responsible for their visa fee which they are to pay at the US Embassy in their country of residence at the point of receiving their visa. They will also be responsible for their travel insurance which will be required once their visa letter is approved by the United States Immigration Department.
To participate in the conference one must be registered. Delegates can participate individually or in groups. Groups can be formed in a range of two (2) to five (5) members.
Registration form is attached to this email. You are to download and complete the form accurately. Completed forms should be submitted to the secretary via email along with other required documents as listed below.
Scanned copy of the data page of International Passport,
Two (2) colored recent passport photographs and
Hotel booking reservation.
These documents should be submitted as soon as possible to confirm your participation.
Participation Terms & Conditions:
The following terms and conditions set out the legal rules applicable to every delegate. Participants shall be bound by these terms and conditions.
You are advised to read and understand these terms carefully before commencing with your registration. The organizing committee will not accept any condition(s) that is not in line with these terms.
To be eligible to participate in the business conference, attendees must be at least 18 years old (Attendees may be asked to present an official identity card showing their age during accreditation).
The conference organizing committee reserves the right to refuse any registration if the maximum number of delegates expected is exceeded.
Registered delegates are responsible for the cost of their hotel accommodation and living expenses in Los Angeles, California.
Attendees are expected to honor their VISA by returning home to their respective countries after the conference.
All delegates' details will be kept on our records for some period of time. Your information will not be shared with anyone and we will not contact you about anything other than the event you attend, unless you have indicated otherwise.
Registration will not be complete until all the requirements for participation are fulfilled by the applicant.
It is imperative for all delegates to observe relevant security procedures during the period of the event. Be sure to have your delegate conference badge on at all times for easy identification.
Accommodation:
Participants will be responsible for securing their accommodation for the duration of the conference. We implore delegates to reserve their rooms with any hotel of their choice within Los Angeles, California, where the conference will be held. Your reservation should be from Sunday, January 22nd (Arrival date) to Friday, January 27th, 2023 (Departure Date). Though delegates can decide to stay more days in the US after the conference but would be expected to depart the US before the expiration of their visas.
Please follow the link - www.booking.com, to book your hotel online. The link has been configured to display a list of hotels around the venue of the conference. You can select any hotel of your choice from the list.
**The hotel reservation receipt should be submitted along with other requested documents for registration.
Visa Processing:
Foreign participants must be in possession of a valid International Passport to apply for a US Visa. On completion of the conference registration process, participant's registration file/visa request will be forwarded to the U.S. Bureau Department of States for visa authorization. Upon approval, a copy of the approved visa letter will be sent to the delegate and to the Consulate Section of the U.S. Embassy in your country of residence where you will collect your visa.
An appointment date will be communicated to you by the Attorney General on when to visit the U.S. Embassy for visa collection, after the approval of your Visa authorization letter here in the United States. You are to inform us if you already have a U.S. visa when submitting your registration documents.
Flight Ticket:
Free round trip air tickets will be provided by the organization and her benevolent sponsors in the United States and abroad. The round trip air tickets will cover delegates' air travel from their countries of residence to Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. and back to their country after the conference.
Invitation Letter:
All registered delegates whose participation has been confirmed will be sent an official letter of invitation. For a delegate's participation to be confirmed, he/she must have submitted all the required documents for registration.
Presentation:
Interested participants who wish to present a paper are advised to write a summary of their presentation. This should be in relation to the above listed topics. Indicate your intention to make a presentation during registration.
Language:
The official language of the conference is English; however, there will be provision for digital wireless translation into several major languages across the globe.
Note: Early submission of registration documents is advised, as we have almost attained the maximum number of delegates needed to participate in the program.
