When you drive up to the beacon fire station, you’ll be rewarded by a magnificent view of Busan’s nighttime scenery unfolding all around you. If you need a chance to warm up after enjoying the chilly mountain air, stop at the cafe at the rest area at the bottom of the beacon fire station to enjoy a hot cup of tea. Dongbaekseom Island is home to one of Busan’s most amazing trails, which stretches all the way from the popular The Bay 101 to Haeundae Beach. As you walk in between the amazing, towering lights dotting the forest trail, you’ll soon hear the sound of waves and the gentle hum of insects as they tune up for their nighttime orchestra. As you travel inland on Dongbaekseom Island, you’ll be met by an impressive view of the Nurimaru APEC House and the Gwangandaegyo Bridge off in the distance. The trail is a highly recommended place for an after-dinner stroll.
