Open Yearbook is a free service of UIA's subscription-based Yearbook of International Organizations (YBIO). It includes profiles of non-profit organizations working worldwide in all fields of activity. The information available in Open Yearbook is limited in comparison to YBIO. Information in the profiles includes organizations name(s), history and aims, and search is available by organization name.
Projects
UIA's projects represent endeavours undertaken to create a specific product or service. Sometimes they are run solely by the UIA, but often in collaboration with one or more partners with specific expertise in the field of civil society and international organizations. Open Calendar
Open Calendar is a free service of UIA's subscription-based International Congress Calendar Online (ICCO). It includes current and future international meetings organized by non-profit organizations working worldwide in all fields of activity. The number of meetings, information contained in their profiles, and search functionality of this free service are limited in comparison to ICCO.
Encyclopedia of World Problems and Human Potential Online: Re-design Project
The Encyclopedia of World Problems and Human Potential is a research project initiated in 1972 as a collaboration between the UIA and Mankind 2000. It represents some of the most progressive and innovative work conducted at the UIA. The Encyclopedia Online was made available in 1999, and consists of six main databases, each complementing one another. This project comprises re-development of the database using recent technologies and support for an online editorial environment.
Executive Master in International Association Management
The Executive Master in International Association Management is taught by academics from the Solvay Brussels School-EM. It aims to build the leadership capacities, strategic planning and management skills of the association managers and thus enhance the reputation of the association management profession. The programme is designed for international association executives holding a university diploma and with at least 3 years of work experience from any sector. Candidates with no university credentials but with substantial work experience will also be considered.

UNESCO Database of Non-Governmental Organizations
In order to facilitate the work of the UNESCO Section for Non-Governmental Organizations – Sector for External Relations, the UIA has been entrusted with the creation and maintenance of a customized database of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), foundations and similar UNESCO partner institutions. The database is freely accessible.
