The UIA Round Tables bring international associations together, providing an opportunity to learn through networking and practice, and the exchange of experience and knowledge. Associations are invited to send representatives to Lyon on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 November for the 12th UIA Round Table Europe, hosted at the Lyon Convention Centre.

| | | | | UIA Reaches Final Week of 2018 Survey on International Associations' Meetings Behavior Associations’ participation. How do international associations organize and conduct their meetings? What behaviors do they share? What issues do they encounter along the way? These are the questions which the Union of International Associations (UIA) seeks to answer with its Survey on International Meetings Issues. The survey is conducted every three years allowing those involved in the process of organizing international meetings to see how issues evolve over time. The current seventh edition invited 25,000 associations of all types, representing civic, charitable, commercial, or industrial interests around the world, to share their experiences. As this survey is the largest of its kind in the world, the UIA is grateful to have the support of its sponsors Seoul Tourism Organization, the Monaco Convention Bureau and the Singapore Tourism Board to make its research goals a reality. After closing the survey in one week, the UIA will announce the results at its Annual Associate Members Meeting / UIA Associations Round Table Europe in Lyon on 15 November. Afterwards the results will be freely available on the website. Associations wishing to be a part of the survey can contact survey@uia.org for practical details on how to participate.
