Frankfurt. Join UIA for learning and networking at the IMEX Association Day 2015 on Monday, 18 May. Meeting the current needs of associations, and independent from the association’s area of activity, high level educational sessions facilitated by experts present topics and deliver professional advice related to association operations, marketing and meetings.
These interactive sessions are the priority reason for association executives to sign up for Association Day at IMEX. However, association representatives, who have enjoyed the experience in previous years, know that the Association Evening, the social event which follows the education afternoon, is an equally fruitful and inspiring part of this learning day.
At Kap Europe, the new conference centre in Frankfurt, the Association Day will welcome 300 association executives from all over the world.
The Day starts with a networking lunch, where you will meet your peers. The dedicated education programme presented in the afternoon sessions offers learning about how to improve your association management and your interaction with your members. Also, the sessions provide advice about how to enhance your meeting activities, how to develop networking with your members with goals such as encouraging their engagement in your conference programme, and how to better identify your members' needs.
The sessions are co-delivered by experts from the industry’s leading associations, such as PCMA, ICCA and ASAE. They are interactive and you will be welcome to discuss your personal view and your current needs with the sessions’ facilitators as well as with your peers. The education programme closes with an hour of discussion in small groups focusing on the key topics identified during the sessions.
Following the afternoon programme, the Association Evening offers association delegates time to relax... and more learning! At this networking reception, taking place at the Marriott Hotel, association executives can meet and discuss, exchange expertise and share experience with colleagues, facilitators, professionals and IMEX exhibitors.
