Where to meet?
+ The Convention Centre Dublin – main auditorium for 2,000; single flat space of 2,721 sqm; has hosted events for 5,000 delegates and is right in the heart of the city.
+ The Royal Dublin Society – a 43 acre site in the city with large exhibition halls and smaller break out rooms. It even has its own concert hall and rugby stadium.
+ City West Hotel, Conference Centre and Golf Resort – a main arena for up to 4,100 people, 774 bedrooms on site and over 30 meeting rooms.
+ DoubleTree by Hilton Dublin – Burlington Road – 500 bedrooms and single plenary for up to 1,200 and 24 meeting rooms in total.
+ Aviva Stadium – home to the Irish rugby and soccer teams. 750 plenary and 50 meeting rooms in total.
+ Croke Park Stadium & Conference Centre – home of Gaelic Games and steeped in Irish history. 87 meeting rooms and capacity for up to 800 in a single plenary.
+ Guinness Storehouse – ‘Home of the black stuff’ and available for conferences or the all-important gala evening event for up to 2,000.
Where to stay?
160 hotels with over 18,000 bedrooms across the city, all of which are approved by Fáilte Ireland the National Tourism Development Authority: 11 x 5-star, 32 x 4-star, 13 x 3-star. Dublin has a mix of international and Irish brands alongside locally owned and managed properties.
Some of the international brands include Marriott (Renaissance and Autograph), Hilton (DoubleTree, Hilton and Conrad), Westin, Radisson Blu and Crowne Plaza. With local names being Doyle Collection, Jurys and Maldron. NB The Four Seasons will cease as a brand in Dublin from 31st December but it is expected the property will take on either Hyatt or Intercontinental in its place.
