Why Warsaw?

Krzysztof Celuch, POT Director, Poland Convention Bureau

Did you know?

+ By using the synergy of public and private entities associated within Warsaw Tourism Organisation, we strive to continually extend the support offer and we will do our best to make your possible Warsaw event a great success.

+ Warsaw's eclectic character may be seen and enjoyed through its very diversified offer of accompanying programmes. Unique historical sites, avant-garde post-industrial spaces, or those in the ponderous socialist realism architectural style, all of them can make great venues for banquets, fashion shows or anniversary galas. Forging a link between business and pleasure has never been easier.

+ Be inspired by Warsaw citizens’ commitment to rebuild their city after WWII destruction. The reconstruction effort, unprecedented on a European scale, gained the appreciation of UNESCO so that in 1980 UNESCO included it on the World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. We invite you to come and admire the historical soul of the city.

+ Historically at the crossroads between Western and Eastern Europe, Warsaw grew to become a platform for new dialogue that inspired changes and promoted better understanding between different cultures. This openness is what distinguishes Warsaw and creates the city’s unique yet modern European style supported by a high standard of services.

Where to meet?

Warsaw has:

+ an interesting selection of meeting venues: from post-industrial through historic to modern conference facilities.

+ unique Old Town - architectural complex inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

+ dynamic investment market and intriguing urban landscape.

+ Key locations in Warsaw are presented in the Warsaw Congress Guide 2017. This is the only catalogue that displays such a varied range of Warsaw meeting venues. The Guide is published and updated annually, which means that each year new locations are introduced and appropriate changes are made to the venues already present in the guide. Particular attention has been paid to the layout so as to make this year's edition easily navigated for the interested party to find a venue suitable in terms of both size and character to meet the needs of the conference.
