My favourite spots in Shanghai:
Top three restaurants
1. Lost Heaven on the Bund, 17 Yan An Road (East), T: +86-21-63300967 the restaurant provides Yun Nan Cuisine with dark, rich colours and romantic spotlighting which is the perfect atmosphere for guests.
2. Kathleen's 5 Rooftop Restaurant, T: +86-21-63272221 5th Floor, Shanghai Art Museum, 325 Nanjing Road(West), the restaurant with a nice green view of downtown Shanghai city.
3. TMSK Restaurant, Unit 2, House 11, North Block Xintiandi, Lane 181 Taicang Road, by Madang Lu. T: +86-21-63262227, fusion cuisine with nice Chinese Traditional Music Instruments Performance.
Top three bars
1. Peace Hotel Jazz Bar: The Jazz Bar at Fairmont Peace Hotel is the only address in China for legendary jazz, carrying guests instantly back to the private clubs of the 20’s and 30’s with its comfortable décor.
2. Long Bar in Waldorf Astoria Shanghai: This bar is a recreation of the bar that used to be there when it was called "The Shanghai Club" in 1910. It was, at the time, the longest bar (110 feet) in South East Asia, but it was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. They’ve recreated it from old photographs, which is a nice touch.
3. Vue Bar in Hyatt on the Bund Shanghai: VUE Bar atop the Hyatt on the Bund is a great place to sip at some after work cocktails, or lounge after a long Sunday Brunch. With amazing views of the Bund, wood interior and jacuzzi on the outdoor terrace, it's a beautiful and equipped place to enjoy a mellow night out.

2. Yu Garden and City God Temple Zone, most Chinese traditional area in the downtown city of Shanghai.
